About SPARK Research Hub

SPARK – Sustainable Partnerships Advancing Research and Knowledge in Additive Manufacturing Education for a UK–Egypt Greener Future is a collaboration between the University of Birmingham (UK) and The British University in Egypt (BUE).

Our shared mission is to accelerate the transition to cleaner, more resource-efficient production by co-creating a Joint MSc in "Sustainable Industry Using Additive Manufacturing (AM)" and a digital hub that links researchers, students and industry on both sides of the Mediterranean. By embedding sustainability into every layer of the curriculum and community, SPARK directly advances four UN Sustainable Development Goals.
